FAIRLINE SUNFURY 26

Here we have the ever-popular family sports cruiser - the Fairline Sunfury 26. The owners of this boat have now bought a new boat hence the reason for sale, so they are also looking for a quick sale if possible.

The vendors have really loved owning this boat and in the last 3 years they have covered every inch of the Solent clocking up around 300 hours in it! The vendor has done a lot of vital work to this boat in the last few years which is listed below.

This model is well-known for being comfortable with good headroom, a spacious cockpit, and all the basics you need to stay on the water for a good length of time. These classic Fairline hulls are strong and well-built and they handle the water fantastically - much better than any modern equivalent, hence why they are still so popular.

The vendor has recently changed the oil on both drives, had the propellers refurbished, fitted new anodes and has valeted the boat (June 2022).

Recent work and upgrades done by the vendor since 2019 include:

WINDLASS:

Rebuilt windlass inc. all new bearings and seals

Brand new windlass electrics in waterproof clear-fronted panel

New foot switches for windlass

ENGINES:

Port: full rebuild including mew bearings, vales, piston rings etc

Rebuilt both carbs

New fuel pump

Full service on distributor inc. electronic points

New spark plugs, cables and coil

Sea water pump refurbished inc. new impeller, new seals to heat exchanger and all sea water pipe work & new temperature thermostat

New exhaust manifold

Starboard: Full service on distributor inc. electronic points

New spark plugs, cables and coil

Rebuild both carbs

Water pump rebuild using existing body with new inners (cannot get original part) & new temperature thermostat

New sea water impeller

New exhaust manifold

Compression test on engine - all cylinders as per specification

New trim sensor

ENGINE BAY:

New fire extinguisher

New services battery

New bilge pump

CABIN:

New LED roof lights

All woodwork sanded down and two coats of marine satin varnish

New stainless steel hinges on all doors

Two new sensors for the gas monitor

COCKPIT:

New radio

New fuse holders for engine controls
